We had more than 90% of the eligible residents voted in favour of the HIP for Blk 221,222,223, 225 and 226. This means the project can now go ahead. Congratulations to all!
The Essential Improvement items are fully funded by the Government, while the Optional Improvements chosen by Singapore Citizen Households are heavily subsidised depending on the flat type.
HIP for this precinct will start from the first quarter of 2011 and complete by the first quarter of 2013. During this period, HDB will provide a common air-conditioned study room, rest area, temporary toilets, emergency plumbing and electrical services and an information centre on site to address the concerns of affected residents.
